**The Role**
The Senior Resident Medical Officer (SRMO) is a hospital specific Medical Officer working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Women and Children Division. Th role is ideally suited to a doctor interested in pursuing a career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The minimum qualification includes prior experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with the capability to operate at the SRMO level and a potential for acquiring further expertise to enhance skill set.

**The Hospital**

The $77 million, 270 bed multi-discipline facility which opened in 2017 providing state-of-the-art facilities for the communities of Australia's capital city. Servicing over 11,000 people in what is a public/private facility. A level 4 hospital that provides a range of acute and sub-acute services including a 24 hour Emergency Department. Inpatient services include general medicine, surgery, maternity, mental health and critical care. Other service modalities include day surgery, specialist outpatient clinics, Hospital in the Home and the Geriatric Rapid Acute Care Evaluation.

**The Requirements**
- Registered or eligible for unconditional registration as a medical practitioner with AHPRA
- Post graduate experience ideally within the Australian Health Care setting. PGY 3 or above.
- The successful applicant will need to be available for weekend and after-hours work.
