**Black Bird Coffee House located in Tanunda SA has a Barista/ Cafe Allrounder position available ( 3 days per week approx 15-20hrs

Black Bird Coffee House is located in Tanunda, the heart of the Barossa Valley. Black Bird Coffee House is a licensed cafe offering all day breakfast, light lunches, coffee and sweets. This coffee house boasts a relaxed outdoor atmosphere for all locals and tourists to enjoy quality food and exceptional barista made coffee.

One of the many highlights enjoyed by our guests, is the homemade cooking. You will find an array of slices, biscuits and cakes that will leave you wanting to come back for more. The use of Barossa local produce is evident throughout our menu which is favoured by our guests in recognising the beautiful Barossa region.

**The key responsibilities include**:

- Exceptional customer service
- Cash handling, use of eftpos and POS system
- Making coffees on a fast paced coffee machine. Minimum of 1-2 years experience required
- General cleaning, clearing and wiping down tables, dishes, cleaning equipment, sweeping and mopping
- Preparing cold beverages
- Food preparation, toasting and heating food
- Breakfast and lunch service
- Following all rules and regulations of food handling, storage and hygiene

**The successful applicant must**:

- Be reliable, flexible and demonstrate initiative
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service
- Have great communication and organisational skills
- Have a bubbly and positive personality
- Be available to work weekends
- Produce exceptional coffees and have excellent attention to detail

*Previous hospitality and barista experience will be an advantage

PLEASE NOTE:
*Only permanent Australian residents will be considered

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 20 per week
