Information Security Officer

TE Connectivity in ANZ region is looking for an Information Security Team Leader to lead the implementation, operationalization, and execution of IT/security risk management processes in a high quality, consistent manner across the global organization processes in alignment with industry recognized cyber-risk management frameworks.

The Information Security Team Leader is responsible for managing and monitoring the security controls that protect the assets of the company. This includes, but is not limited to, identifying threats and vulnerabilities, implementing protective measures and responding to information security events.

Act as a key member of the CDC-SOC team by assisting with activities related to security strategy and technology evaluation, and development of the company's security controls.
- Responsible for immediate supervision to a regional team and adequate coverage during regional team's hours;
- Coverage between hours of 8am and 5pm regional time
- Coordination with the Team Leader counterparts to ensure critical monitoring coverage in instances where holiday falls on a same day.
- This may change in the future as needed
- Responsible for scheduling and overview of the regional teams' vacations, sick days, and validating employees' working hours entry into HR systems
- Responsible for providing mentoring and training sessions of the new and existing analysts
- Responsible for one on one reviews with the regional team members, and for assisting to set individual performance and development goals each FY
- Responsible to lead and work together with the entire SOC analyst team on executing threat hunting and threat intel activities, critical incidents, addressing threats, vulnerabilities and bring these issues to resolution
- Coordinating with the counterpart team leader (in US or CZ) and management: on assignments, training, coverage, planning of future activities (road-map planning, team development, sharing of responsibilities)
- Responsible for selected number of technical or other projects, either assigned to team-leader, or the individual team members
- Responsible for providing metrics (employees performance, KPIs, other metrics as needed based on teams activities)
- Responsible for development of new, and repeatable methods for detecting malicious activity across TE networks, systems, and products - and for creation of the alerts content (use cases/playbooks) as needed from findings
- Responsible for creation of new knowledge base articles and pattern discovery to be used for discovery, analysis, and detection and implementing of the incident response processes, procedures, playbooks, guidelines, and solutions
- Responsible to coordinate with internal and 3rd party teams during high severity incidents.
- Participating in coordinating with internal and 3rd party teams during annual or other table-top exercises
- Position includes on call tasks during emergency situations, and supporting teams' shifts on as needed basis - participating in escalation tree process (currently not on-rotation), but this may change in the future to include rotation on-calls.

**Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related discipline, or foreign equivalent, and two years of experience in the job offered.

Experience with providing vision, strategy and leadership.

Experience in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and executing on them.

**Salary**: Up to $164,000.00 per year
