RCR is currently seeking a highly motivated **Fitting and OSR Supervisor** to join our Bunbury Workshop Team. This role is responsible for supervising and leading a team of multi-skilled mechanical equipment personnel in a safe and cost-effective manner at all times. The supervisor will oversee all activities associated with **Off-Site Repairs (OSR), inventory assembly, and the manufacturing of OEM equipment**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Demonstrate leadership in the workplace and effectively communicate information.
- Oversee apprentice performance and training.
- Liaise with the Manufacturing Superintendent and OSR Coordinator to safely deliver quality OEM and OSR equipment.
- Ensure work plans are followed to meet quality and schedule objectives.
- Conduct fortnightly planning of work scopes, including resources, tooling, equipment, and materials.
- Provide daily updates on Work in Progress (WIP) and feedback to the scheduler.
- Conduct workplace inspections and follow up on any identified substandard conditions or practices.
- Assist in identifying the need for and preparing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and work procedures.
- Lead daily pre-start meetings to discuss topics such as work procedures, JHA requirements, incidents, near misses, identified hazards, employee concerns, and job progress. Record and retain meeting minutes.
- Ensure all employees are informed of hazards in their work areas and activities as they arise.
- Ensure the site's safety management plan is implemented and followed.
- Ensure the company meets its obligations regarding **"Duty of Care"** and complies with the requirements of the **WHS Act**.
- Receive and actively control hazards reported by personnel.
- Encourage and support site **OH&S**:

- Be available for overtime, weekend work, shift work, and site work as required to meet objectives.
- Perform any additional tasks as directed, within your skills, qualifications, and competence level.

**Essential Criteria**
- Minimum 5 years' experience within the fixed plant mining sectors
- Stripping & Assembly report preparation.
- Strong computer literacy skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of quality and safety management systems
- Ability to communicate and prioritise works to meet schedule and client deliverables

**Desirable Criteria**
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management
- Licence to perform advanced rigging
