**Description**:
**The Role**:
Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a Part time Catering Assistant at our School site in North Sydney. Working as a Catering Assistant your role will encompass the delivery of food service, stocking and setting up buffets, cleaning of tables and tidiness of both dining halls. You will at times be called upon to support the chefs in plating up meals for the boys
**Roster**: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 8:30pm upto 25 hours
**What This Role Involves**:
Assisting with food preparation (e.g. fresh-made fruit salad, sandwiches, salads, fast-food etc.)
Customer service - serving our students meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
Assisting the broader team as required
**Skills and Experiences**:
Previous experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Driver's Licence
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
