Trace JV is looking for a qualified, experienced and reliable Quality Manager to join their established team in Perth and Darwin.

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing and assisting with QA / QC activities including but not limited to review of fabrication and coating ITPs, procedures (eg surveying and NDT), inspecting fabricator's premises in Perth and Darwin, witnessing testing and final inspections and ensuring compliance with the INPEX and Trace JV requirements.

Whilst this role is Perth based Monday to Friday it will require travel to Darwin as and when required.

You will manage and administer all quality functions of the Maintenance Services Contract and subcontracts for the INPEX Ichthys Project including client relationships, scheduling, auditing, reporting and ensuring verification and documentation of all work is completed to applicable codes, standards, and Contract and Project requirements.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Extensive proven experience in a similar quality role within the oil and gas industry.
- Trade qualification in either Hazardous Areas, Electrical, Instrument and Control or Engineering Fabrication is desirable.
- Lead Auditor qualification.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the auditing of Business Management Systems with a working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and AS 4801.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability and confidence to engage and influence the Trace JV team to ensure adherence and compliance with document control and management requirements.
- Ability to self-manage, manage others and effectively prioritise workload.
- Ability to work strategically and produce structured reports and documents.
