**About the Opportunity**
We are looking for a passionate, self-driven and dynamic Functions Manager to join our team at the Ferntree Gully Hotel and assist in creating memorable moments. The Ferntree Gully Hotel is a versatile function and event space, with spaces able to cater for up to 300 guests. We specialise in private and corporate events, everything from conferences, birthdays, engagements or wedding receptions.
This is a varied role that will see you maintain exceptional standards and drive exposure of our functions offering in the ALH Venue portfolio. You will have a passion for the guest journey, will be natural and personable, ensuring a smooth and seamless guest experience. This is an ideal role for a superstar who has their finger on 'the pulse' of industry trends
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Display a genuine passion and flare for the industry, Love what you do and be a team player with a hands on attitude
- Ability to work autonomously within the business framework
- Prior experience in functions sales leadership with an ability to develop people Proven ability to develop strategic plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time
