Due to rapid business growth and the increasing success of our innovative solutions in Infrastructure Asset Management, particularly in roads and transport networks, Future Data Sense Technologies (FEDASEN) is expanding its capabilities to ensure we continue delivering high-quality projects on time and at scale.To support this growth and maintain alignment between our technology teams and business objectives, we require an experienced ICT Business Analyst to join our Sydney office.

Enhancing Communication Across TeamsThe addition of an ICT Business Analyst is a strategic move to ensure that as FEDASEN continues to grow and take on more complex and high-value projects, our internal operations and external delivery remain streamlined, effective, and client-focused.
This role will be vital in helping us maintain our high standards of innovation, quality, and project success.As an ICT Business Analyst, your daily duties and responsibilities will include:·Identifies and communicates with users to formulate and produce a requirements specification to create system and software solutions.
·working with users to formulate and document business requirements·Meet with internal stakeholders (software developers, engineers, ML/data science teams) and external clients to identify business needs and technology requirements.
·identifying, investigating, and analysing business processes, procedures and work practices·Conduct interviews, workshops, and observation sessions to gather functional and non-functional requirements.
·identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behaviour·Prepare detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, User Stories, and Use Case Diagrams·Assist in analysing operational and project data to identify trends, inefficiencies, or opportunities·using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects·Generate reports or dashboards for management and project teams using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or GIS platforms.About You: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:·Minimum 5 years' experience working as an ICT Business Analyst, ideally in technology-driven or infrastructure-related projects.
·Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
·Proven experience using the following tools and platforms highly regarded:oSQL, Database, data modelling, and ETL pipelinesoAPIs/Web Services (REST/SOAP) and tools like postmano JIRA, Confluenceo Power BI, Tableau, Excelo Visio, Lucidchart, *******o Geospatial and AI platformso Wireframing and Prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Balsamiq)·Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
·Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
