**WORKSHOP TRADE ASSISTANT**CLEAN MODERN WAREHOUSE**TOP $$$**CLOSE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORT**FULL TIME**

We are seeking mechanically minded Workshop Trade Assistants for one of our leading clients based in Smeaton Grange.

This client is an industry leader in manufacturing high quality transport service equipment ranging from standard semi trailers to large and heavy loads. Our client offers services beyond transport including Truck Tarp design & manufacture, metal fabrication & fully automated covering systems. They also design and manufacture equipment specific to a customers transit needs

**Working alongside Installers & Fabricators you will be asked to assist with**:

- Maintenance, service & repairs of Truck Canvass Tarps + basic steel fabrication
- Being "hands on" & OK using power /cordless tools.
- General Industrial Canvass & Sheet Metal fabrication work.
- Flexibility to carry out onsite work along with the Fitters & Installers

**Successful applicants must have/be**:

- Experience in a similar role (Sheetmetal/Industrial Fabrics/ShadeSails)
- Well presented, reliable & a hard worker. 38 hours per week
- Intermediate to advanced Power tool usage
- Welding experience is beneficial (training will be provided)
