The Muse Café, located in Brisbane's South Bank as part of the Queensland Museum, is recruiting for a Kitchen Steward to join the team.

**About the role**

The Kitchen Steward is responsible to perform basic kitchen duties as requested by the Head Chef, including:

- General washing up
- Basic food preparation
- Cleaning of kitchen equipment
- Cleaning of kitchen surrounds
- Deep cleaning
- 15 hours per week on offer
- Pay Rates : M-F at $31.23 p/hr Sat at $37.47 p/hr Sun at $43.72 p/hr

**You should have**
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment with knowledge of food hygiene
- A responsible person who shows initiative
- An eye for detail
- Hard working, physically fit and reliable - able to lift 10-15kgs comfortably
- Good communication skills
- Valid working rights in Australia
