**About the Company**
Our client is a leading provider of skin cancer diagnostic services across Australia. Their parent company is one of the largest private pathology businesses in Australia and employ more 3,800 people across Australia. They are looking for 2 Histology Scientists to join their close knit team in Sydney.

**About the role**
This position is an excellent opportunity for a Scientific Officer or Technical Officer to extend and develop their career in a fast paced, high volume Histology Laboratory.

This is a Full Time role where your flexibility with hours will be well regarded as this role will require participation on a rotating roster.

**About You**
- Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience working in a Histology Laboratory
- Graduates may apply, work placement experience preferable
- Histology experience
- Highly developed specimen cut up (microtomy), embedding and dissectioning skills
- Immunohistochemistry experience
- Special Stains
- Frozen Sections
- Sorting
- General Laboratory Duties
- Operates instrumentation for tissue dehydration, section clearing, impregnation with paraffin, cutting tissue sections, and staining of slides
- You will display excellent customer service with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work within a team as well as being able to work autonomously
- You will thrive in a busy environment, and have the ability to work in a fast pace multi-skilled laboratory and demonstrate high attention to detail.
- Your flexibility to cover other shifts is required
- Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner and to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
