Overview
Position:Client Venue Manager (CVM) at Certis.
Reporting to the Senior Manager Maritime Services, the CVM will be responsible for client services for the Port Authority of NSW.
The CVM maintains existing business by ensuring events service delivery is timely and meets quality standards.
The CVM will help Certis clients understand the full potential of Certis Events services and act as a liaison between the client and Certis' customer service experience.
The CVM collaborates with the PANSW Events team, prospective customers, and Certis event security teams to improve event service delivery and enhance customer satisfaction.
The Venue Manager is responsible for ensuring OEMP (Operational Event Management Plan) compliance on event days, and facilitating staff and patrons' compliance with the OEMP as required.

Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary contact during events and facilitate liaisons between PANSW, clients, and the on-site security team.
Provide regular updates to Certis and PANSW on the progress of event service delivery that directly affects each client.
Implement specific control measures contained in the OEMP that fall under the responsibility of the contract.
Escalate to the Property Manager any non-compliance with the OEMP.
Develop a Contractor's EMP (if required under the contract) in accordance with site specifications and the requirements of the OEMP.
Ensure that all staff involved in managing the function are aware of environmental responsibilities and have received environmental training in accordance with the OEMP.
Monitor adherence of sub-contractors to the OEMP and recommend required changes to the operator.
Consult with the Council, State Agencies and the community as may be required by the OEMP.
Ensure any Contractors engaged in works at the Event site are appropriately licensed and aware of their environmental responsibilities.
Ensure security-related issues are escalated to the security team and addressed by the allocated security-licensed team leader.
Experience
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in the events space.
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
Mandatory: Drivers Licence.
RSA & First Aid
Police Criminal History Check.
Knowledge
Knowledge of security industry legislation and guidelines.
