Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Patel'S Logistics Pty Ltd Full time

We have recently secured additional delivery contracts for the Melbourne region, We are seeking energetic and good delivery drivers - 12 Positions (Full time) - with clean driving histories to make timely deliveries within Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.
- Permanent Full Time Opportunity
- $57,500 per annum and 10.5% Super
- Monday to Friday require an early morning start.
- Christmas season will include Saturday and Sunday work and overtime for 12 weeks.
- Rates and conditions as per the Road Transport and Distribution Award (MA000038)/ Transport worker grade 2.

Duties will include:

- Loading parcels, packages, and pallets on to vehicles safely.
- Storing and packaging of goods using appropriate procedures.
- Driving to delivery and/or pick up points.
- Delivering goods to recipients on time.
- Recording deliveries.
- Working in a safe manner.
- Provide a courteous service at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Hold an unrestricted driver's license to drive rigid vehicles not exceeding 4.5 tonnes GVM.
- Have at least 24 months relevant experience within the Courier/Delivery. industry. Experience and/or knowledge working within a postal network (not mandatory but preferred).
- Be able to perform all modes of delivery and in various delivery networks in Melbourne.
- Be able to adapt to high volume and pressure.
- Must have a clean driving history.
- Hand/eye co-ordination to be able to sort the mail and parcels.
- Fit enough to lift to 16kgs of parcels regularly.
- Meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less.
- Must be willing to work in early morning shifts and weekends.
- A friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable personality who enjoys interacting with others and a team player.
- Be able to put in extra hours if required.
- A commitment to Occupational Health and Safety standards.

**Salary**: $57,500.00 per year
