St Peter's Catholic College, Tuggerah is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Classroom Teacher - Learner Diversity.

Our EA is also underpinned by a guarantee our rates will be at least 1.5% above the NSW Department of Education into the future More time: We provide every primary and secondary classroom teacher with Collaborative Coaching Time (CPT), in addition to the usual release from face-to-face.

Specific Criteria Supportive of the Catholic Ethos of the Diocese of Broken Bay Highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner Current knowledge of The Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and Disability Standards for Education Current knowledge of the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD), its processes and obligation to schools Develop, implement, assess, and monitor the individual plans for each student in the support class, including behaviour and personal care support plans.
Collaborate with CSBB teachers, Learning Partners and external health and wellbeing service providers to ensure students are engaged in learning with successful outcomes Facilitate safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive behaviour for learning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Successful experience in building the capacity of teachers to support children with disability Must be a 4-year trained teacher Hold a valid Working With Children Check Committed to supporting student wellbeing.
