Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned
Cybersecurity Project Manager
to lead our team in delivering top-notch cybersecurity solutions.
Main Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Manage end-to-end cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of objectives, scope, and deliverables.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with clients, internal teams, and vendors to align goals and drive successful project outcomes.
Team Development:
Provide leadership and support to project teams, fostering effective delivery and professional growth.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate project documentation, reporting, and forecasting for internal and client use.
Quality Assurance:
Oversee project quality, implementing reviews and controls to meet industry standards and best practices.
Communication and Presentation:
Present updates, reports, and project plans internally and externally with clarity and accuracy.
Team Utilization and Target Management:
Manage team availability, utilisation, and billable targets, reporting regularly to senior management.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed on emerging threats, technologies, and project methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in project management, preferably in cybersecurity or IT consulting, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
Leadership and Interpersonal Skills:
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with experience managing cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration.
Cybersecurity Knowledge:
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and familiarity with technologies such as firewalls, IDS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
Project Management Methodologies:
Skilled in project management methodologies and tools, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Communication and Problem-Solving Skills:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a client-first mindset.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field (project management certifications such as PMP/PRINCE2 highly desirable).
