**The opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled Instructional Coach to be accountable for leading and learning, through collaboration, instructional leadership, supporting evidence-based practice and a commitment to their own learning. This position will attract 2 coordinator points.

**The Instructional Coach**:

- Contributes to the delivery of the system strategic intent and learning agenda within the local school context
- Exercises Catholic leadership and fosters the faith formation of students and staff
- Leads the implementation of the learning framework, agreed pedagogical practice, and school action plan with a focus on wellbeing and learning skills
- Coaches teachers and models agreed practice to support students at the point of need using data and research-informed practice in wellbeing and learning
- Enables teachers to transfer intervention strategies to the local context
- Supports teachers in the use of assessment and in developing differentiated and personalised learning opportunities
- Analyses and uses data to assist other leaders and teachers in understanding student and teacher learning needs
- Informs the professional learning and capacity building program of the school
- Contributes to a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility across the school

**The Qualifications**:

- Accredited tertiary qualification in education or degree in a specific discipline with a graduate degree in teaching
- Experience leading Wellbeing and/or Learning
- Demonstrated success in improving student learning outcomes in literacy and numeracy
- Capacity to work with other professionals to improve practice
- Working with Children Check
- Australian resident or citizen
