Job Description
As a seasoned traffic expert, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from small to large scale, including major public realm initiatives.
You will be responsible for addressing gaps in your experience, gaining expertise in transportation impact assessments, fee submissions and bids, client liaison, road safety audits, traffic and parking analysis.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in SIDRA modelling, experience in car parking and demand assessments, concept design for intersections and active travel, ability to deliver projects end-to-end and supervise others, knowledge of Austroads, Australian Standards, and DTP guidelines, understanding of traffic and transport planning and delivery in Melbourne, strong written skills for proposals and communication, and traffic analysis and engineering skills specific to Melbourne.
Deliver high-quality traffic engineering solutions
Lead projects from conception to completion
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Strong technical skills in traffic engineering
Excellent communication and project management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of Austroads, Australian Standards, and DTP guidelines
Experience in SIDRA modelling and traffic analysis
