As part of the Distribution and Logistics team, the
Storeperson Distribution & Logistics
role supports the implementation and maintenance of world's best practice for warehousing, distribution and logistics. Located at our Brisbane Base Maintenance Hangar, this 18 Month Fixed Term position offers shift work opportunities.
Responsibilities
Timely processing of all warehouse requirements within the nominated timeframe
Frequent monitoring of operational requirements in different parts of the warehouse with the ability to reprioritise on demand to meet customer requirements
Accurate review and action of all facets of warehousing including Receipts, Binning, Issuing, and Despatch
Control of Qantas and client stock
Input into continuous improvement processes to enhance productivity, efficiency and overall viability
Fostering a culture of cooperation across other elements of the logistics organisation
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Have
Be a highly self-motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative and good organisational skills
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with the flexibility to adapt to change and drive continuous improvement
Ability to build effective relationships and manage a collaborative team environment
Ability to work without direct supervision
Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks under time constraints and meet strict deadlines
Sound data entry skills and high attention to detail
Minimum two years of warehousing experience performing receipting, binning and despatch transactions
Good understanding of logistics planning and inventory control
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Manhattan Software (Desirable)
Current Manual Motor Vehicle Licence (Essential)
Forklift Licence (Essential)
Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
Flexibility to work on a day or night shift roster if required
