On occasion the role may also require the applicants to start or finish outside of normal working hour.We are seeking an experienced, calm, and highly organised full-time nanny to join a family in Rose Bay, NSW on a permanent, ongoing basis.
You will primarily be caring for the two children-a 6-year-old and a 4 year old-focusing on school drop-offs/pick-ups, after-school care.
This role suits someone who enjoys working in a family environment and can take initiative, while also being flexible with scheduling during school hours.
Ideal Candidate: Calm, positive, and highly organisedCan build a strong relationship with the childrenConfident and experienced with young children and infantsFlexible with schedulingGood communicator and proactive with household needsComfortable around dogs (the family have two friendly dogs) Typical Day and Responsibilities: Organising and planning fun, creative, and engaging activities/outingsCare for sick childrenMaintaining all aspects of the care routine for the childrenAfter-school routines, homework support, and playDriving to/from activities (family car provided)Preparing nutritious meals/snacks for the kidsKeep bedrooms and play area tidyRunning errands may be required (e.g., walking the dogs, post office run or getting groceries).
Light household duties (e.g., washing and folding and tidying up).3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child careChildcare qualifications preferred but not essentialUnderstanding in Child DevelopmentHave a current first aid certificate (or happy to obtain one)Have a current Working With Children's CheckDisplay excellent communication and writing skillsSpeak English.
