We are seeking a skilled **Maintenance Officer** to join our dynamic team on a **full-time permanent basis.** The Maintenance Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities at **YMCA Fitness, Victoria Point**.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Conduct routine maintenance and landscaping of the grounds including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting and mulching
- Develop, implement and maintain quality administrative systems to manage routine tasks including equipment inspections
- Perform regular stock takes of consumable items, first aid and cleaning supplies
- Attend to minor building maintenance and equipment issues
- Coordinate and work consultatively with other tradespersons
- General maintenance of the pool area including temperatures, chemical levels and cleanliness of water

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Trade qualification and/or relevant experience in landscaping, general maintenance, or building repairs
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to upholding Workplace Health and Safety standards and compliance regulations
- Hold a current Blue Card or be willing to obtain one
