What sets us apart is our collaborative, team-based approach, delivered by an experienced and highly supportive staff.We are seeking a dedicated Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit Greencross Ballarat team
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for animal care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.About Your New JobCasual role with the potential for a Permanent Part-time role for the right candidateNo Afterhours or SundaysUndertaking general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathologyMaintaining the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipmentThe Skills & Experience You Will BringCertificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with a minimum 2+ years' of clinical experienceSurgical experience with the ability to monitor anaesthetics competently is essentialExperience with Team Based Care highly regardedCalm, mature and empatheticAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamExcellent communication skills with both clients and colleaguesNo day will be the same, but you will always have a supportive team around you and fantastic clients and pets walking through the door.
