**About the OPPORTUNITY**

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Control Account Manager (CAM)** to join our Maritime Sustainment program delivery team at Garden Island, NSW.

The Capability Lifecyle Manager (CLCM) program works with Defence, Australian Navy, and Defence Industry partners to deliver project management services sustaining the Royal Australian Navy' Hobart Class Guided Missile Destroyers (DDG) into the next future.

Reporting to the Program Manager, the CAM is a proactive member of the DDG CLCM, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver key deliverables to the Commonwealth of Australia (CoA).

- Key responsibilities include:_
- **Cost Management**:Tracks actual costs against the budget, identifies cost variances, and recommends corrective actions.
- **Schedule Management**:Monitors project schedules, identifies potential delays, and recommends solutions to stay on track.
- **Performance Measurement**:Measures project performance using earned value management (EVM) techniques, such as cost variance and schedule variance.
- **Data Analysis**:Analyses project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- **Reporting**:Prepares and presents project performance reports to management and stakeholders.
- **Accountability**:Accountable for the performance of their assigned control account, including cost, schedule, and technical aspects.
- **Integration**:Integrates scope, budget, actual cost, and schedule for their assigned control account.

**About YOU**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management (desirable)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role or Project Management at similar capacity
- Strong Maritime Defence industry experience
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Established stakeholder management skills
- Baseline Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
