About The Role We're seeking a skilled and safety-conscious PERU Operator to join our team at the Tullamarine Depot.
In this hands-on role, you'll play a vital part in the construction and maintenance of overhead electrical networks.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include operating specialised plant and equipment to support tasks such as boring holes and lifting power poles.
Key Responsibilities Provide assistance and essential plant operation support to electrical line workers Complete risk assessments/job safety analysis prior to commencing work at each site Collaborate with various teams to safely upgrade and maintain the electrical network Complete tasks within designated time frames to meet customer requirements About You Success in this role requires demonstrated previous experience operating PERU in a construction or utilities environment, together with a strong focus on safety and collaboration.
Valid Australian Driver's Licence with HR or HC endorsement High Risk Work Licence C2 Crane endorsement (as minimum) A strong understanding of electrical safety practices, along with knowledge of relevant electrical legislation, codes, and industry standards Benefits What we do matters.
