Citi is looking for Analyst to join its
Equity Capital Markets (ECM)
team in Sydney. The ECM team works with the Advisory and coverage teams to originate, structure, execute, and syndicate equity financings such as initial public offerings, follow-on capital raisings, block trades, convertibles, and other equity-linked financings. The objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by facilitating equity capital formation.
About you:
Qualifications
1–4 years' relevant work experience within ECM, corporate advisory, markets, or a related area
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; in any discipline with a top academic record from a leading university
Strong corporate finance, analytical, business communications skills (written and verbal), with exceptional multi-tasking and time management ability
Exceptional teamwork skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders in other lines of business
Self-directed, highly motivated, resilient, and able to work independently with attention to detail and integrity
Commercially savvy with discretion regarding highly confidential information
Strong interest and understanding of equity capital markets and transaction processes
Keen interest in markets and investing; knowledge of the global or domestic business landscape
Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word
Job responsibilities
Help originate, structure, and execute equity capital market transactions
Conduct comprehensive company and industry research and trading analysis
Develop and prepare presentation materials and other content for clients to address their strategy and equity capital market needs
Liaise with internal and external parties to manage and execute several projects simultaneously; work well as an individual and as part of a team
Play a critical role in delivering equity and equity-linked solutions leveraging the bank's full capabilities
