Key duties and responsibilities:
The key role of the factory hand is to work as part of our manufacturing team of welders, spray painters and factory hands in the manufacture of our industrial safety guarding product, with some custom projects. The job involves a range of activities which may involve preparing materials, cleaning, lifting, and the operation of a range of machinery.

Duties will include grinding, linishing, drilling and assembly work, therefore to be successful you must have experience with hand and power tools.

For the right person, there may also be opportunities for training in powder coating, forklift driving and/or welding.

Skills for the role:

- The factory hand is expected to be mechanically minded.
- General handyman level skills.
- Be punctual and dedicated to your work
- Experience in manufacturing / production environment
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and safe work practices
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- A current Victorian Drivers Licence is essential.
- A forklift license is preferred but not essential.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.73 - $38.09 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Truganina, VIC 3029: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
