**Overview**
- We are looking for a CTL developer who can design, implement, and support functional changes in the Capital system as part of a project, core development or platform support. A programmer role, developing in a procedural language, being CTL (Capital Translator Language).**This is a 6-month Fixed term contract role for external employees.
**Key Accountabilities and main responsibilities**
- Analyse and translate business requirements into software designs.
- Documenting of development diagrams/programs, code comments and other artifacts.
- Ensure timely completion of activities by adhering with the agreed processes & quality standards.
- Participate in day-to-day meetings, providing early escalation of issues and input into change management.
- Support during the completion of QA testing.

**Experience & Personal Attributes**
- Exposure to mainstream Development Language.
- Programming Skills in CTL (Capital Translator Language) will be provided. CTL is a bespoke in-house business-oriented development language. Previous exposure to Visual BASIC, VBA, VBScript, or similar desirable.
- Strong SQL, debugging skills, low level database skills.
- Development Methodologies - Waterfall, Agile.
- 5+ years of programming experience.
- Experience with superannuation and financial services systems desirable.
