**About the role**

Our team is expanding and we are looking for passionate and caring Care Service Employees to join our supportive workplace. The role will be on a casual & permanent part time basis, and we are looking for staff flexible to work the morning, afternoon and night shifts. As a care service employee, you will be responsible to contribute to a multidisciplinary team providing great care and services to our residents. In this role you will assist residents with their personal care, emotional and spiritual needs and promote social engagement.

Your duties may include but not limited to:

- Assisting residents with personal care including showering Supporting residents with meals
- Contributing to care planning with registered staff Documenting care and services provided to residents Engaging residents in meaningful activities.

**Skills and experience**

**Essential**:

- Previous experience as a Care Service Employee in aged care industry.
- Transferrable skills in providing care and compassion to others.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understanding of WHS and Infection Control principles and residents' changing care needs and how this translates in AN-ACC reviews.
- COVID vaccination and police check certificate.

**Desirable**:

- Cert III or Cert IV in aged care or individual support.
- Advantageous to speak Croatian language.
