About the RoleAs a teacher at Berrinba East State School, you will: Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Australian Curriculum, with a strong focus on differentiation to meet the needs of every learner.

Use effective behaviour and classroom management strategies to create an engaging, focused, and inclusive classroom culture.
Work collaboratively as part of a professional learning community, supported through instructional coaching, mentoring, and shared planning time.
Contribute to our whole-school focus on inclusive practices, play-based pedagogy in the early years, and the integration of trauma-informed approaches and digital learning tools.

What We're Looking For
Essential: A demonstrated commitment to inclusive, student-centred teaching that responds to diverse learning needs.
Strong capability in curriculum knowledge, differentiation, and classroom management.
A proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Desirable: Knowledge or experience in trauma-informed practice, co-teaching models, and the use of digital learning tools to enhance engagement.
A strong understanding of Play Pedagogy and its application in early years education.
