PRN, 7p-7:30a
Location: Summa Health System - Juve Behavioral Health Pavilion
Job Summary
Guided by nursing principles based on biological, physical, and psycho-social sciences, utilizing evidence-supported judgment and nursing theory, the RN provides, coordinates, and delegates nursing care, managing resources to promote health and restore well-being for patients, families, and the community.
Per Diem Requirements
Minimum of 24 hours worked in a four-week schedule
Inpatient, Behavioral Health, and Emergency Department staff must work at least 12 hours on a weekend, holiday, or hard-to-fill shift
Holidays include New Year's, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
Hard-to-fill shifts include Super Bowl Sunday, Presidents' Day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve
Surgical Services staff must meet scheduling requirements set by the unit director / ACNO
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN); applicants with an Associate's degree must obtain BSN within three years
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (CCNE or ACEN)
Current Ohio RN license
One year recent experience in the area of practice; additional experience may be required for specialty units
Requires full body motion, standing, walking, corrected vision and hearing, working under stress, exposure to hazards, and maintaining BLS certification
ACLS certification required within six months for critical care, telemetry, PACU, and ED nurses
Population-specific competency and physical demands detailed in the original description
Compensation and Benefits
Hourly rate: $48.50/hr.
Salary ranges are base salary exclusive of bonuses/differentials, considering experience and location.
