As the Executive Manager for Solution Architecture chapter, you will provide people and architectural leadership, alongside being the strategic influencer of business partnerships connecting teams and programs of work, to ensure alignment of delivery and project choices with the existing reference architecture.

The Financial Crime Technology team is accountable to execute on Financial Crimes Compliance (FCC) enhancements to processes, systems and skills to ensure the Groups goal of ensuring leading practice in disrupting financial crime. Their strategy is to deliver efficient and quality processes aimed at creating experiences that our customers love, to ensure increased confidence in managing financial crime.

They are part of the Corporate Services Technology practice, responsible for delivering projects, enhancements and assessments relating to Financial Crime Technology services that safeguard the Group and wider community. They majorly support the multi-year programs (Program of Action), capabilities and platforms of Financial Crime Compliance and Financial Crimes Operations risk functions across the Technology landscape at CommBank.

You will define the Solution Architecture chapter's technical roadmap and help foster a collaborative mindset within the teams whilst leading the cultural transformation by creating an open, safe and fun working environment for the chapters you lead.

Your role will focus on enabling agility, future ways of working and delivering end-to-end strategic alignment through reference architecture, business and technology strategy and drive the architectural outcomes and roadmaps required to meet our long-term business aspirations and outcomes for the current and the near future.

- Passionate about leadership and empowering architects to solve problems with locality and simplicity.
- Adept with executive level stakeholder management skills that enable the promotion of team's ideas, able to juggle between multiple priorities, and encourage the mentality of constructively challenging each other where appropriate, facilitating and gaining consensus through those constructive interactions.
- Constantly identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated platforms to develop scalable and sustainable improvements.
- Able to drive project initiatives and lead collaborative leadership impact with diversity of thoughts, to uplift chapter's overall capability.

**Tech skills**

We use a broad range of innovative tools, scalable platforms and process frameworks as a technology driven banking organization. We do not expect you to know them all but deep experience or exposure leading architectural teams within similar environment will set you up for success in this role
- People management and executive stakeholder engagement skills, with previous experience in playing leadership roles for Solution Architecture vertical.
- Expertise in solution architecture, domain and reference architecture
- Financial crime background will be a big plus, but not mandatory
