About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced
AWS Cloud Engineer
with a strong background in IAC to work on a Cloud transformation project.
This is a contract role offering both challenge and stability, with the chance to contribute to a critical government program.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver expertise across the AWS Cloud Platform in a secure government environment
Implement and manage
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
and cloud operations tooling
Monitor, log, and maintain alerting systems to ensure platform reliability
Troubleshoot, optimise, and manage cloud workloads, including backup and recovery
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support cloud initiatives
Produce high-quality technical operations documentation
About You
Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer in enterprise environments
Strong skills in
IaC (CloudFormation, Terraform, etc.)
and automation tooling
Expertise in monitoring, logging, alerting, and troubleshooting cloud workloads
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and documentation abilities
NV1 (or higher) clearance
