The role will involve fuel deliveries to service station sites as well as wholesale customer locations.We Offer:A competitive hourly rateAbove award Super contributions.Paid medicals, Basic Fatigue Management (BFM), safe load pass (SLP) renewals and dangerous goods licence renewalsUniforms providedA supportive team environmentAs aTanker Driveryou will be responsible for:Ensuring all deliveries of fuel are made in a safe, efficient, and professional mannerProviding quality customer serviceEnsuring vehicle loading and unloading operations are carried out under Terminal and SLP standards and are compliant with regulations set out in the Australian Standards for fuel handling and storage and apply all safety, security, and environmental standardsHaving a sound knowledge of BFM and Mass ManagementProcessing all delivery transactions accuratelyWashing the trucks and tankers frequently and ensuring the interior is maintained dailyThe Successful Applicant will have:Current licences and permits (MC driver licence, Dangerous Goods licence)Current SLPMinimum 3 years articulated driving experienceCurrent terminal inductions to the Cairns fuel terminals would be desirableUnderstanding of dangers associated with petroleum productsUnderstanding of Dangerous Goods codes and practicesAbility to work from various locationsAbility to follow instructions accurately and expeditiouslyAccuracy in processing documentation and submission to head officeEffective oral and written communication including mathematical skillsSelf-motivated and displays energy and enthusiasmAbility to work collaboratively with team members, internal and external customers to accomplish organizational goals.PLEASE APPLY
