The role will require the use of both coffee machines and food reheating equipment.
Cash handling and reconciliation will be required for this role.
Staff will be required to prepare foods for display during their shift to ensure that all display counters are ready for the daily serve to guests.This is Permanent Part time opportunity for weekends Saturday and Sunday 5 hours per day from 09:30am to 2:30pm.DutiesMaking drinks which includes but not limited to barista style coffees, smoothies and milkshakesHaving all cakes and pastries displayed with signage displayedMeeting and greeting customers in the cafeWater jugs are filled ready for guestsTaking ordersPreparing and reheating food when orderedManaging food presentation on plates to guestsTable service of drinks and meals to the guestsEnsuring that all crockery and cutlery is cleaned and polished in readiness for serviceSalt and Pepper shakers are filled and all sugar bowls on tables have sugarUse of a till - Cash handling and reconciliation dailyMaintaining the cleanliness of the dining area including tables, floors and all workspacesCleaning and maintaining the coffee machine during and after you shiftInforming the Village Manager of items to be ordered to ensure that all stock is on handCleaning all areas at the end of the shiftReplenishing stock in readiness for the next shiftCompletion of fridge and freezer documents to ensure safe food practicesLabelling of foods stored in fridges and freezers Skills and ExperienceBarista experience requiredPrevious experience customer service requiredFood Handling Certificate desirableFood Preparation skills requiredBarista Certificate desirablePrevious Café experience desirableBe at the Heart of It – your new team is ready to welcome you
