Melbourne, Victoria, Australia Buscojobs Full time

About Us
Globally, energy markets are transitioning towards a net zero future, and entities within these markets are transforming their business models to stay relevant, sustainable, and profitable.
As one of Australia's largest energy providers, we are proud of our purpose to lead and accelerate the clean energy transformation for all.
About the Team
The Customer Compliance Performance (CCP) team is undergoing significant transformation, creating exciting opportunities to join at a pivotal time, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact.
This team provides specialist compliance expertise to the Customer Business Unit, supporting effective compliance management and ensuring EnergyAustralia's regulatory obligations, governance systems, processes, and frameworks meet industry standards and customer expectations.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our CCP Team as Compliance Analytics and Insights Lead.
This high-impact position is responsible for designing and delivering compliance reporting that enables our executive team to understand compliance health across the business and focus attention where it matters most.
You'll work across structured and unstructured data sources, connecting these and leveraging analytics and AI to identify patterns, predict emerging risks, and support a risk-based approach to compliance.
This is a highly visible role, requiring both technical capability (e.g., Power BI, Python, Tableau) and the ability to present data compellingly to drive action.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop and maintain data reporting across key compliance areas, including Quality Assurance, Complaints, Archer (Risk System), Breaches, and Remediation activities.
Create thematic reports based on root cause analysis, complaints trends, and compliance breaches to identify systemic issues.
Partner with Technology and Customer teams to design and deliver automated reporting solutions, dashboards, and data visualisation tools that enhance compliance monitoring and insights.
Identify and lead initiatives to improve data capture, quality, and timeliness, aiming to embed and mature insights-driven decision-making.
About You
While compliance analysis experience is desirable, success in this role hinges on your ability to design, build, and maintain high-quality reports from scratch and conduct meaningful analysis that simplifies complexity into clear insights—enhancing management's capacity to act.
Additional qualities include:
Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other reporting and visualisation platforms.
An analytical mindset with strong ability to interpret complex data sets.
A continuous improvement ethos, always seeking technological and automation enhancements.
Curiosity and innovative thinking, understanding both detail and the big picture.
Experience presenting analysis and insights to various stakeholder groups.
Why Us?
We're committed to an inclusive culture where our people can bring their whole selves and feel a sense of belonging.
Our initiatives include the PRISM network supporting LGBTI employees and a Reconciliation Action Plan strengthening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
We offer:
Flexible working arrangements to balance life and work.
Discounts on energy bills for you, friends, and family.
Two extra leave days annually (recharge days).
Volunteer days off for charitable activities.
20 weeks of gender-equal paid parental leave.
