**About the Role**

We are seeking a Grocery Assistant to come and join our team. We are looking for employees who pride themselves on providing outstanding customer service, are hard working, have exceptional communication skills and have a passion for quality and ensuring store presentation is of the highest quality.

As a Grocery Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

- Monitor stock inventory
- Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximise sales and profitability
- Process orders and take deliveries
- Opening and closing procedures
- Filling the shop floor where there are gaps
- Rotate stock in the shop
- Quality control on all grocery products that come through
- Ensuring date checks are conducted thoroughly and regularly
- Ability to use the ordering tool or willingness to learn
- Ensure cleanliness of aisles, storage area and work area
- Following Company policies and procedures, and ensuring team members are following these
- Perform other duties as requested or required by upper management

You must have the following attributes:

- Exceptional customer service
- Must be willing to work mornings, evenings and weekends
- Work well within a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask

**Salary**: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
