Overview
Home Care Worker role at Mercy Health (Newcastle - Lake Macquarie region). Casual employment with flexible hours; weekend and evening availability would be highly regarded. Salary: $31 - $35 per hour (as per the Enterprise agreement).
What you'll do
Provide personal care with empathy and dignity
Domestic assistance and household tasks
Meal preparation and nutritional support
Assisted shopping and community access
Respite care to support family caregivers
What you'll bring
A warm, empathetic, person-centred approach to care
Strong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families
A collaborative spirit that contributes to a team-focused culture
Required/Preferred Qualifications
Own car with insurance and a valid driver's license
First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
Certificate III or IV in Home and Community Care/Aged Care/Disability
NDIS workers screening check
