This role combines hands-on development with team leadership, allowing you to shape the technology behind two of Australia's most popular investing websites.You'll drive technical strategy, promote best practices, and play a key role in enhancing our platforms and internal systems.
Additionally, you'll mentor your team and foster a collaborative, high-performance environment where innovation thrives.Responsibilities include:Architecting and building the next generation of Australia's most visited stock market platform, Market Index, alongside Livewire.Re-platforming legacy systems onto modern, scalable infrastructure using appropriate tools.Developing high-performance APIs, unified frontend systems, and scalable backend services for millions of investor interactions.Implementing AI and LLMs for investment data extraction, content summarization, and automation.Mentoring engineers, contributing to technical leadership, and defining engineering standards and strategies.Collaborating with product and design teams to influence product direction and roadmap.Who are we looking for?
