Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled
Interim Financial Controller
to provide maternity cover for 9-12 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of financial control with minimal input required from the Group CFO.
They will also assist the Group CFO in executing M&A strategies, ensuring significant control and compliance improvements are maintained and further improved.

Key Responsibilities:
">
Take the lead in Financial Control M&A preparation and execution, working closely with the Group CFO.
Manage, motivate, progress and lead the Finance team.
Ensure the month end is closed on a timely basis and to the highest of standards.
Maintain the monthly Board reporting excel model, ensuring it reconciles to the underlying finance system TBs.
Ensure an appropriate handover to the FP&A team each month which includes a comprehensive commentary on variances and material items processed during the month end.
Prepare and sign off high quality balance sheets monthly.
Plan and execute annual audits on a timely basis.

Requirements:

Highly experienced and skilled Interim Financial Controller.
Private Equity and/or M&A experience is a significant advantage.
Strong Excel skills are essential as well as a hands-on can-do attitude.
Ability to work effectively with overseas advisers and auditors.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
