**THE OPPORTUNITY**
**WHAT YOU'LL DO**
This position will be involved in a cross section of HSEQ responsibilities in our diverse and innovative engineering organization. The two (2) year program includes training and support in Corporate followed by rotations to different Ampcontrol Business Units as part of the supported, practical, hands on training. As part of a friendly and professional team, your role will specifically involve:
- Supporting the implementation of HSEQ projects
- Engaging for small group improvement projects
- Participating in HSEQ investigations and identifying root cause issues
- Developing appropriate corrective action plans
- Maintaining HSEQ databases
- Assisting in the review of systems, and
- Assisting with HSEQ audits
**WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
In order to undertake and succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a range of essential skills and behaviours. As an entry level position, it is not essential that you have experience in HSEQ systems; though it is preferred.
Essential criteria:
- Passionate and committed to improving HSEQ
- Either recently completed, currently undertaken, or keen to commence tertiary HSEQ qualifications i.e. Cert IV OHS
- Competency in Microsoft Applications
- Current Driver's License
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Excellent time management skills
- Focus on service delivery
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in HSEQ systems and management
- Experience working with a manufacturing / industrial environment
- Qualifications or experience in assisting incident investigation
- HSEQ consultation and or HSEQ committee experience
