You will be responsible for case managing at-risk youth through assessment, case planning, implementation, monitoring, and review.
Your role includes monitoring student attendance data and implementing intervention strategies to help students and families maintain a minimum of 85% attendance.
As a Youth Worker, your goal is to improve outcomes for vulnerable young people and families through integrated and coordinated service delivery.This is a permanent full-time role, working only 40 weeks a year (term time) with 4 weeks of annual leave.

It provides an alternative program for Year 11 and 12 students who are disengaged or at risk of disengagement from education.Each campus offers a supportive and safe learning environment, providing vocational education and training (VET), work experience, and opportunities for school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.
Our team supports students in gaining employability and transferability skills to enhance their wellbeing, resilience, belonging, academic achievement, career exploration, and employment outcomes.Our focus is on re-engaging students in learning, maintaining their eligibility for a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE), and helping them secure employment or further training upon graduation from Year 12.About you...Proven ability to develop cooperative working relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure student outcomes are achievedKnowledge and experience working with youth in a vocational education pathway are advantageous but not essentialExcellent communicator and influential promoter capable of seeking and securing opportunitiesAbility to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no disclosable outcomesNext steps...This role will commence recruitment immediately upon advertisement.
