**About the Opportunity**

HighlandsXpress is a small, family-run furniture removal business, looking to grow our team with an experienced professional Furniture Removalist.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Load and unload at the warehouse, ensuring all goods are protected, using manual handling or a walkie stacker when required.
- Assist with pick-up and deliveries to properties, always protecting and caring for goods and the client's premises.
- Adhere to all company and site-specific safety procedures.
- Assist with mostly local and occasional long-distance pick-ups and deliveries.
- Assist with customer VIP services, such as blanket wrapping and furniture assembly when required.
- Follow the direction of the driver or team leader to help complete all deliveries and pick-ups safely and efficiently.

**What You'll Need to Succeed**
- Experience driving 3 to 6-ton trucks preffered but not essential.
- 1+ years' experience in furniture removals or similar delivery roles.
- Sound knowledge of the Melbourne area.
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting safely.
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job and committed to safety.
- A friendly attitude, good communication, and excellent interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
- Reliable, trustworthy, and flexible, with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work well in a small team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or tasks.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
