We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate to join our well-regarded Government Advisory team. As a key member of the team, you will work alongside Partners Mark Henry and Angela Barac, undertaking merits review for a Commonwealth Government agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Finalize litigation strategies and statements of issues
Conduct directions hearings and case conferences
Manage substantive hearings
Solicitor advocacy at hearings and finalize briefs to Counsel
Undertake complex statutory interpretation
About You:
At least 5+ years post-qualification experience, ideally with experience in government advisory work and litigation
Strong solicitor advocacy experience and expertise
Experience mentoring team members with excellent communication skills and a collegiate approach
