Coogee Continental Deli is an iconic deli located 5 minutes from the Coogee Beach

We are passionate about creating the BEST European inspried food, in our gourmet take awy business.

This position will be responsible for creating amazing coffee and customer experiences.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce consistently delicious specialty coffee
- Make friends with our customers and enjoy serving them
- Greet customers with enthusiasm and a smile as soon as they enter the shop
- Opening and Closing of store
- Strong understanding of speciality coffee creation - adjusting a grinder, understand extraction and execute great milk texture in a timely manner
- Problem solve and trouble shoot equipment workings, when required
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace, including following section cleaning/refill schedules
- Ensure appealing product / packaging presentation
- Assist manager and team makes with daily duties
- Confidently serving customers across the Deli counter & customer service counter
- Understand and employ a high standard of food safety hygiene practices
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations when working within the deli/kitchen area

**Position Requirements and Desirable Personal Attributes**:

- Have a GREAT attitude, with a willingness to learn
- Love cofee & contiental rolls
- Be honest, punctual, professional and adaptable to a growing business
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, whist maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Able to remain cool and collected, with a smile and good vibes when under pressure
- Minimum 3 years of industry relevant experience
- Previous experience working in a Deli is preferred

Coogee Continental operates 7 days per week.

The successful applicate will be required to work day shifts and weekends. With possible afternoon shifts & public holidays. We offer a friendly, fair work place, we work hard but have the music cracked and have a laugh.

The applicant must reside in Australia and have the correct working visa (if necessary) to work in Australia.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $61.00 per hour
