Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a dedicated Pathology Specimen Collector to join our dynamic team.

Position : Pathology Specimen Collectors (Please note that this is NOT a Courier Driver position)Location : Cannonvale & Proserpine, QLDEmployment Type : Part-time - 50 hours per fortnight, shifts between 6 : 30 am and 3 pm from Monday to Friday with occasional participation in Saturday rosters.Hourly Rate : From $28.12, commensurate with experienceKey ResponsibilitiesCollect biological specimens (blood, urine, etc.) from patients in a safe and professional manner.Ensure all samples are labelled and processed according to established protocols.Provide exceptional patient care, addressing any concerns or questions.Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the collection area.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.What we are looking forWe greatly value candidates with customer service experience who will make patient care their number one priority.
Other desirable skills and attributes you would have include :Previous experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors and / or a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen CollectionThe confidence to work independently, sometimes in solo collection centresEfficient time management and problem-solving skillsA willingness to learn new things and enjoy variety within their roleA First Aid CertificateSuccessful candidates will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during their first twelve months of employment.
