Permament Part-Time Hospital Dietitian

**Solutions with Food is seeking an experienced hospital dietitian to join our team to work within Mater Private Hospital at** **Springfield and our private clinics for an immediate start.**

The position available:

- Permanent Position with a minimum of 25 hours per week

The position works collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team with **Mater Private Springfield Hospita**l, **Fresenius Kidney Care** staff and our **private clinics** in the surrounding areas of Springfield Lakes, Redbank Plains, and Brookwater.

You would join a team of established dietitians, doctors, nurses and other allied health professionals in a supportive environment, including training and ongoing support from our experienced team.

Preference will be given to those with at least two years of experience in a Hospital setting, including those with experience as a Nutritional Assistance.

Job Tasks & Responsibilities
- Manage a clinical workload by undertaking a nutrition assessment, implementation and evaluation within well-established private clinics and hospital setting
- Manage a diverse caseload in a private hospital setting, including Private, DVA, and NDIS clients
- Participate in team meetings, education and quality improvement activities
- Meet revenue targets and patient outcome goals
- Develop ways to promote the business with other health professionals, businesses, and surrounding communities

Essential Requirements
- Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised university/institution and membership with the Dietitian Australia
- Friendly, polite, hardworking, willing to learn, accept feedback and adjust to change.
- Professional Indemnity insurance
- Current Driver's license
- Up-to-date, Police Background check
- Proven and successful management of patient caseload and patient retention

Desirable Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling interaction with patients and their families, team members, and external health professionals, including doctors and key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and be goal-driven while working as a member of a dynamic multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in specialised areas such as; malnutrition screening, renal, weight gain or loss, general medicine, diabetes, and IBS.
- Excellent customer service skills and client-focused. Able to establish and maintain rapport with patients.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Preference will be given to those with at least two years of experience in a Hospital setting, including those with experience as a Nutritional Assistance.

Remuneration

Solutions with Food are proud to offer a competitive salary, from **$35 - $45.50 per hour** depending upon experience plus superannuation.
