Workshop Lead/Foreman (Trade Qualified)

Salary 110-115k + Super

Location: Southern Suburbs

**The role**:
A leading engineering business that focuses on the design, engineering & manufacturing of hazardous equipment are seeking a workshop lead/foreman

includes - reading drawings, drilling, and punching enclosures of different materials

accurately and to a very high standard. This role is a key hands-on role but also supervising a team of two to three people.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Manage workflow of work orders with the team

Planning to ensure efficient word order completion

Complete work in line with Quality Standards to customers' satisfaction

Complete work orders within the timeframe

Comply with Work Procedures

Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workshop

Critical to this role is someone with the right attitude, keen to learn and develop their knowledge of hazardous areas, and a team player that can take ownership and accountability for their work. Someone who can work to a high standard.

You will need to have relevant industry experience or experience in a similar role and possess the following essential criteria.

**Essential Criteria**:
Trade background

Track record of compliance with Health & Safety procedures

Solid work ethic - ability to work autonomously

Excellent communication skills

Team player with strong values

Be accountable for your workspace and workload

Able to prioritise, multi-task, demonstrate a sense of urgency

Rights to work in Australia

WA Drivers Licence

Undertake a pre-employment medical and be fit for work

Police Clearance Certificate

**Desirables**:
Experience in assembly of electrical control panels

Reading electrical and mechanical drawings

Knowledge of hazardous areas

Experience with laser/waterjet cutter

Milling or Machining Qualification

Knowledge of ERP systems

First Aid training

Forklift ticket
