**About the Opportunity**

Join Metcash as a Buyer and take ownership of key categories within our Grocery, NonFood, and General Merchandise portfolio. We're looking for a proactive professional with a keen eye for market trends and a passion for building strong relationships to help drive sales and unlock growth opportunities.

**In this Role**
- Manage and grow a diverse portfolio, focusing on supplier and retailer relationships.
- Leverage your negotiation skills to deliver the best outcomes for all stakeholders.
- Use data-driven insights to maximize sales, profit, and distribution across WA.
- Coordinate promotional activations and manage category performance, including markdowns and competitor analysis.
- Present trends and opportunities to key stakeholders, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

**You're Likely a Match If***
- 5+ years of experience in the FMCG sector (store management, sales, or account management).
- 3+ years of buying experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
- A data-driven approach with strong attention to detail and a knack for problem-solving.
- A passion for continuous improvement and delivering great results for independent retailers in WA.
