From humble beginnings back in 1953, McLean Care has grown to become one of the largest providers in the North-West region of NSW and Darling Downs region of QLD. We provide services to over 1,100 people, in an area of almost 195,000 square km's, employing over 605 staff. Essential Skills
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work under limited supervision
- Access to own fully maintained and insured vehicle
- The ability to plan and organise self to ensure the timely completion of tasks.
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a team
- Has a friendly and cheerful demeanour
- Demonstrate an empathic and caring approach
- Ability to use a smartphone and/or tablet or the ability to learn
- Adequate connectivity to a mobile network in your own home to facilitate the use of work related mobile technology
- Physical fitness including ability to undertake manual handling, carrying, standing and sitting for long periods of time

Knowledge
- Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles
**Qualifications**:
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Current unencumbered Driver's Licence
Desirable
- Working towards Certificate III Individual Support or equivalent
- Previous experience in a Homecare environment
