RCR Mining Technologies (RCRMT), a leading business unit within NRWHoldings, is seeking a talented Industrial Painter Blaster to joinour team at our Bunbury Workshop on a Casual basis.As an Industrial Painter Blaster at RCRMT, you will play acrucial role in ensuring the durability and protection of ourmining technologies.
You will utilise your excellent painting andblasting skills to provide high-quality and efficient services inindustrial surface preparation and coating.Responsibilities:Perform surface preparation on steel or hard compositionobjects, ensuring the removal of all contamination andachieving the specified finishApply paint or similar coatings using spraying or brushingtechniquesReview painting specifications and comply with the requiredstandardsBlast to profile tolerances and specificationsTake precise measurements when measuring blast profileMaintain accurate records of painting thickness, includingDFTs, paint reports, salt testing, etc., as necessaryManage inventory of materials, including paints andconsumables, and notify the supervisor of any shortagesEnsure cleanliness and maintenance of machines andequipmentProvide guidance and assistance to apprentices and tradesassistantsRequirements:Local residency in the Southwest regionAustralian Recognised Trade Certificate in IndustrialPainting or Blasting OR Relative experienceValid Driver's LicenceWork at Heights & Confined Space TicketsDogging/Rigging certification (preferred but notessential)Forklift Ticket (preferred but not essential)Physical fitness for manual labour and ability to pass adrug and alcohol screeningStrong commitment to safety and reliable work ethicWhat We Offer:Discounted Private Health InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Excellent remuneration, conditions, and benefitsIncome Protection InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Parental Leave benefitsSalary Sacrifice options availableJoin our dedicated team and take on this rewarding challenge
