We pride ourselves on providing high quality care to our families and children who attend our services.

**The opportunity**

**Who we are looking for**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic OSHC educator to join our Kids United OSHC team who can work a variety of hours Monday to Fridays during school terms. School holiday availability is also desirable for our vacation care services.

Please note you must be available to work at least 4 afternoons per week.

**Hours of operation**:
Before School Care: 6:30 am-8:45am

After school care: 3:00pm-6:00pm

Vacation care: 6:30am-6:00pm

**As an OSHC Educator at Kids United OSHC, your role will include**:

- Provide an environment that values and supports children's learning through play; an environment that is safe, nurturing, inclusive, challenging and promotes a sense of belonging.
- Knowledge of compliance with the National Regulations
- Understanding and implementing the National Quality Standards
- Building relationships and interactions with children to assist their learning through play and leisure-based programs that align with the framework 'My Time Our Place'.
- Communication and engagement with children, families, and other team members in a positive, productive, and respectful manner
- Implement the policies, procedures, and routines of the centre.
- Identify and respond to children and young people at risk.
- Support the development of children.
- Ability to support administration.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running's of the service including Food Preparation, Supervision, Light Cleaning Duties and contribution to programming, planning implementing experiences and documentation.
- Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Attendance at monthly staff meetings

**Essential Requirements**
- Willing and able to work various shift times Monday - Thursday is preferred
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Assisting with day-to-day running's of the service including, Food Preparation, Programming & Documentation, Supervision & Light cleaning duties
- Valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
- First Aid certificate (including CPR, anaphylaxis & asthma management, and emergency first aid response in an education and care setting) or willingness to obtain prior to start.
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A friendly and energetic personality
- Ability to work effectively as a team and be a strong team player.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with the children, parents, and staff.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Liverpool, NSW 2170: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

- WWCC (required)
- Driver Licence, and own transport (preferred)
